CubiTan^Ⓡ

CubiTan^® is a next-generation smart high-pressure gas container that controls gas at the nano-level. By using “Porous Coordination Polymer PCP/Metal-Organic Framework MOF,” a material with many pores, as a gas adsorbent, it succeeded in compressing gas to a volume that fits in a conventional high-pressure gas cylinder. Not only can a large volume of gas be stored in a light and compact cube (weighing 9 kg and 28 cm square), but it can also be remotely managed by an on-board IoT module. In the future, it is expected to contribute to the construction of next-generation gas supply chains such as drone delivery and the provision of environmentally friendly energy sharing services (GaaS: Gas as a Service).
