Distinguished Professor Susumu Kitagawa, Scientific Advisor to our company, has been awarded the Order of Culture for the 2025 fiscal year and designated a Person of Cultural Merit.
The Order of Culture is Japan’s highest honor bestowed upon individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of Japanese culture, while Persons of Cultural Merit are those whose achievements are recognized.
This award and designation recognize Distinguished Professor Kitagawa’s outstanding achievements in developing PCP/MOF materials, which also led to his receipt of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
