Article on CubiTan® published in the Gas Review
On July 1, 2025 (Issue No. 1059), an article about our next-generation high-pressure gas cylinder “CubiTan®” was featured in the Gas Review, a specialized magazine for the industrial gas industry.
In Japan, we will begin pilot testing this summer a service that leverages IoT technology to manage the location and remaining gas levels of containers holding four types of gas—nitrogen, argon, helium, and liquefied carbon dioxide—and detect falls or tip-overs. This service aims to provide benefits to both gas suppliers and users.
CubiTan® will be provided on a rental basis, and we plan to verify an operational model where service usage fees via the IoT module-enabled web management system (CubiLoopTM) will be the primary revenue source. The trial operation will initially involve 500 to 3,000 CubiTan® units. The initial target end-users include universities and research institutions that frequently handle small quantities of multiple gas types, leveraging the product’s compact design that allows it to be installed under desks.
Additionally, the article introduces demonstration tests for energy gas containers (natural gas and biogas) for general households in Indonesia.
